The Passenger Information Display System (PIDS) is used to display information at station concourses and platforms about the scheduled train arrivals, departures and other general purpose/awareness messages (normal and emergency) such as smoking is prohibited, evacuation messages, etc. PIDS displays information in combination of English text, Hindi text, numeric, animated graphics, punctuation and symbols in real-time.
The 2.6mm pixel pitch PIDS LED delivers excellent image and video quality at an optimal viewing distance of >2.6m.

Flexible display capability
PIDS supports various type of messages including fixed message, pre-formatted message, instantly recorded messages and live audio broadcast. PIDS is flexible enough to display a variety of information including arrivals, departures, delays, timetable change, service advisories, government schemes, static and dynamic advertisements.
LED Technology
Customized direct-view LED technology used in PIDS caters to station information requirements and places of installation. LED technology used in PIDS have a longer life compared to LCD technology. LED comes with high brightness and visibility making information visible even from a distance and in high-lit areas.
Content Management
PIDS is equipped with content management system to provide an easy means of creating and editing content from a single control room. PIDS helps keep passengers informed wherever they are by providing real time schedule information in many busy areas.
Installation Options
PIDS comes with variety of options for installation including – mounting from ceiling or mounting on a wall or as self-standing structure and can be installed anywhere on stations building, concourse, corridors and platforms.

PIDS can support both audio and video together, making announcements easy. Supported Media in PIDS include – MPEG, GIF, JPEG, PNG, PPT, PDF, XML, HTML, UTF-8 compliant, Importable custom TTF and OTF fonts and colours Selectable fonts, scroll speed, style, weight, colour, MP3, WAV, WMA v1,2,3, AC3, AAC and more.
